Our Story
In 1965, Daniel D. Dolan and James O. Murphy combined their talents as Commercial Industrial Real Estate brokers and formed Dolan & Murphy, Inc. creating the first real estate firm in the Fox River Valley exclusively specializing in commercial, industrial, and investment properties.

In the subsequent years, Dolan & Murphy, Inc. played a significant role in the annexation and zoning of vast acres in Aurora, encompassing Kane County. During the 1960s, they actively supported the designation of extensive tollways and major highway land for commercial and industrial purposes. This strategic approach has been instrumental in fostering much of Aurora's current economic development, leading to the generation of substantial tax revenue for the City of Aurora.
